I have had two anonymous sources advise me of two deaths at Spring Grove Recovery. While I don’t know the details of the deaths or the investigations, I do know that people at Landmark, I am sorry, Alsos Behavioral Health, refer to the deaths as “sentinel events.” Spring Grove Recovery is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. There was another patient death at Sheridan Grove Recovery in Aurora, Colorado.
Landmark agreed to buy both properties as part of an agreement with Sabra Health Care REIT. Landmark is to pay $500,000 a month in rent and make a nonrefundable $850,000 deposit as part of the deal. Landmark needs these two facilities and Morrilton to remain in business. Landmark also needs to repair several facilities before the properties can be sold. If Landmark is able to come up with, make payments, and perform repairs remains to be seen.
I wonder how many more properties Landmark is holding on to, or who else they owe money to.
