People who are familiar with Landmark Recovery know who Nicole Carter is. Those who know her don’t have anything nice to say about her. She is back with Landmark Recovery er Alsos Behavoiral Health er Jasper Grove Recovery. Honestly, I don’t see any difference among the three names.
I am being advised that Nicole claims Matt Boyle is a silent partner, yet he continues to complain about the low patient count. Jasper Grove Recovery appears to be another shit show. I am being advised that they keep admitting patients that need a higher level of care than they can recieved. The business development team has made connections with hospitals and jails to increase the headcount. Patients are receiving medication belonging to other patients. This happens when the patient runs out of medication. Nurses are putting in prescriptions without proper authority.
I am also being advised that patients who are registered sex offenders are being admitted. They need to update their address within 72 hours of being admitted. There is a preschool that is visible from the back parking lot.
Nothing has changed since I first started covering and documenting Landmark Recovery in July 2023. Hopefully the state will step in and finally do something.

I’ve noted a few former corporate people from Landmark work there, and, look at the locations. I suspect Matty Boy is involved to one degree or another (my money says he’s very much invested in this, literally.
Curious to hear if anyone knows about this organization – I found it through a recruiter and once I did a cursory search, I declined further contact as it’s raising red flags.

This company doesn’t appear to be associated with Matty Boyle. Based on my research, all signs indicate that this company has nothing to do with Matty Boyle. That being said, I would look at the two Glassdoor reviews and weigh them carefully.
Hey check out Findlay Recovery Center. Everytime I search “Alsos Recovery” Findlay come up at the top.
They are not related to Landmark or Alsos Behavioral Health. I do suspect them of being involved in patient brokering with facilities in in other states and with Legacy Healing Center in Boca Raton, Florida.
No worries about stripping out the URL – I still have my suspicions. Even if Matty isn’t directly involved, there seems to be far too many former Landmark players going to Luminary. I concur with you regarding patient brokering. There’s a hell of a difference between keeping a healthy referral pipeline open and swapping patients. Landmark’s “admissions” people were notorious for brokering when I was there, and if you called them out on it, nothing would happen. As long as Matty got his beds full, he did not (and does not) give two hoots in hell if his “admissions” people are brokering.
I’m hearing they are brokering with Anabranch Recovery Center too. This is making me sick to think about it 🙁
At this point I don’t think anyone is going to do anything until people die again. Two nurses have already been indicted from the same building called “landmark” and now just renamed jasper grove. Look at the experience from their staff on their webpage! Nicole, no degree or licenses. The other two, minimal. They look like they should be patients in their pictures lol. I respect recovery. This isn’t it.
I am jaded about the addiction recovery space. I had concerns about the industry. Its one of the four industries I don’t like to work with. I have a lot of friends in recovery. I have heard too many horror stories from them. It seems like more addiction treatment and sober living homes keep popping up. Too many of them like Matty Boyle got into the addiction treatment space because they view it as money printing press. Landmark is the poster child for everything that is wrong in the addiction treatment space. What two nurses are you referring to? I only know of the case involving Sam’s death. Is there another case?
I have spoken with Nicole’s family and they have had nothing nice to say about her. Nobody has ever defended her. In fact, I am hearing the same complaints two and a half years later. As long as Matty Boyle is involved and calling the shots, nothing is ever going to change. They fact that they rehired Nicole is proof of that.
Was referring to the nurses indicted over Sam’s death when they were forced to listen to Nicole overseeing regionally to include Willard. Just went out to eat with some recovery friends. One went to treatment at 6330 digital way llc and said all he did was have sex and get high. The other is a female who was recently working there and she said Nicole is bat shit crazy and strung out on benzos. Get the popcorn ready cause the shit show is in progress. It’s one thing to ruin your own life…another to ruin others at your expense. They are having nurses order meds and sharing scripts, having sex, and all the same ole same ole
Forgot to mention RCA is doing the same stuff. I can confirm ALSOS is blacklisting not just former employees that won’t do illegal things for the company but also with recovery professionals who they know of and don’t trust by making their hiring posts invisible to select individuals on indeed amongst other job employment platforms. They also are falsely advertising their job descriptions to include pay rates and benefits. Wish we could get the word out to the surrounding community at Jasper Grove Recovery (ALSOS) on how they have multiple registered sex offenders too close to the school. The VA has confirmed they have blacklisted ALSOS due to everything we are talking anbout. Also wish WTHR’s Bob Segall would do another investigation on all of this before others die. Last time he did a 30 minute special and that was the final dagger to them. I have the faith!

The wheels of justice turn slowly. Huron County Court in Ohio is the place to be next Tuesday. Franklin County Court in Ohio is where another case is gaining traction. Who will get the first win?
