I have had several people come forward to advise me that the banks are returning the checks due to insufficient funds. It might be time for the higher-ups to take massive pay cuts. Maybe it’s time to stop paying the fake employees who are drawing salaries and don’t work for Landmark. Let’s eliminate the “personal assistants,” which are just nannies in disguise. Matty, stop flying to facilities while staying in hotels and relying on rental cars. This is a waste of money. The bunnies are upset and scared.
Update: 7:49 AM PST Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
A source advised me that Matty “Boil” Boyle is blaming the employees’ banks for not honoring the checks. Sorry, my mom worked in banking for years; this doesn’t pass the smell test.
Update 5:38 PM PST Tuesday, February 27, 2024
A source emailed me the following: “The checks are definitely bouncing for insufficient funds. Their reasoning is “they changed banks” and told no one this was going to happen as a result. They’re asking the employees that used check cashing services to take the new one coming to them and ask them to swap it. Check cashing places have called the employees and told them they are turning the employee in for fraud.”
Update: 4:25 AM PST February 28, 2024
Employees are calling and should contact the FBI. This is a federal offense: federal check fraud because it crossed state lines. Employees are being told that they will receive replacement checks today.
Update 2/29/2024
An anonymous troll refutes the claims that employee checks were returned for insufficient funds. Ok, argue against these direct messages:
How about this email?
I know I said one email and one direct message, but a new source directly messaged me as I was working on this. Do you want to keep up with the lying, or do you want to stop? Employees at the facilities and upset and scared. You are here playing games while people don’t know if they will be able to pay bills or buy groceries. You are the biggest piece of shit for doing it. Your time will come, trust me.
Update: March 5, 2024
Here is the reason the checks bounced. One bank labeled it as a Frozen/ Banned Account. What do you wish to say now, my anonymous troll?
Here is a photo showing the top check that bounced. The middle check is under a different LLC and bank name.
I asked my mom, who worked for Wells Fargo for years, what Frozen/ Blocked Account and she send me this link. “A blocked account generally refers to a financial account that has some limitations or restrictions placed upon it, temporarily or permanently. Accounts may be blocked or limited for a variety of reasons, including internal bank policies, external regulations, or via a court order or legal decision.”
The first time the late and great Bernie Mac performed on Def Comedy Jam, the comedian who performed before, Bernie, bombed. The audience completely turned on them and heckled them. The emcee approached Bernie to warn him. Bernie said he had been doing this for far too long. This is his routine. If you don’t like vulgarity or sexual jokes, don’t watch it. If you want to see a real performance. Click on this link.
The reason I reference Bernie is that I have had a lot of troll comments. I received the following comment when I broke the news that Landmark was served an eviction notice in Battle Creek.
I love how people behind these comments refuse to use their real names. That’s ok. I am 99% certain I know who this is. I suspect it’s the same person that posted these comments.
Only one person had an online meltdown and told me to get a job.
It’s pathetic you are making these comments when people are trying to find out how to get their W2s so they can file their taxes. You proved me wrong when I thought some LR people couldn’t go any lower.
This chuckle fuck went even lower than you.
I am 99% certain that this is Mr Call of Duty. If it is, the government will have a field with you, trust me. If this is who I think it is, you are why I launched this website. That joke about calling PSBN, please bend me over after the second rape, set me over the edge. Matty can thank you for this passion project. I left LR in my rearview mirror. I spent the morning of Saturday, July 15, 2023, reading and catching up on the LR news. People are dying at LR. Staff and patients don’t feel safe. Patients are regularly not receiving medication and treatment. There are fights, assaults, sexual assaults, rapes, and patients playing with themselves in front of female staff and exposing themselves to female staff. Keep acting like a man-child. It disgusts people and is insulting. Your troll comments backfired and allowed more people to come forward. It’s called The Streisand Effect. I love negative online reputation management (ORM). I’ve been doing this since April 15, 2023. I shut down my first business in the 2014. It taught me how to crowdsource information and push people to the proper authorities. John Hood is stupid for hiring me. I told him who I was, showing him and LR. I have special surprises in the works for you.
Medicaid Facilitry of Morrilton by LR is the facility where Landmark transported patients from LR of Oklahoma City. Logie Tyler, one of LR’s Regional Director of Nursing, wanted staff to transport medication across state lines in their vehicle because the pharmacy they set up wouldn’t have them in time. This is a failure to plan. I have been told that this facility has run out of medication on several occasions, once for an entire week. Nurses are instructed to share patient’s medications. They were told to lie on their Emars to state they administered a drug even if they didn’t have it.
One patient has a doctor’s order for compression stockings for an infection. This order was issued over a month ago. He has yet to receive these medically ordered stockings. Now, the Director of Nursing (DON) went out and personally bought a pair for this patient, and since the patient’s application for an extension was denied, he won’t give them to him. My source was told by the DON from the Executive Director (ED) to NOT send patients out to the local ER for treatment when they needed it because, of course, that meant Landmark would have to pay for it.
The Dietary Manager quit. Landmark needs this position’s license to serve meals. Landmark is serving meals without a license. Landmark has the job listed on Indeed for the second time this month. The ED begged staff to come in and cook for the patients. One staff member went across the street to Walmart to buy groceries. Patients work in the kitchen.
There was a flood last December. Not only did Landmark not pay the construction company, they took the insurance check. The fire sprinkler system was shut off because of the pipes that burst. Patient Engagement Specialists (PES) were supposed to be on fire watch every hour, but they weren’t doing it. The fire alarm went off after a maintenance worker placed a space heater in the riser room, which houses the sprinkler control room. It overheated. Had there been a real fire, people could have died, as there was no water in the system.
The windows can open fully. Patients can exit the property anytime they want. One patient stole a neighbor’s car. When the patient was confronted, he threw the keys at the owner’s chest, said to F off, and climbed back in the window. A patient left Against Staff Advice (ASA) by going out the window. Another patient who ASA’d was found miles away walking along the freeway.
Things will get worse if Landmark can get a Medicaid contract. This facility is next to a school. If admissions are continuing the practice of not performing proper intake interviews, registered sex offenders could be sent to this facility. That’s not allowed.
This image is of ED Kaylee Walker discussing a patient repeatedly asking to leave.
This patient had an issue where they complained of being a nine out of ten, and Landmark staff wouldn’t send them to the hospital. Recently, a patient died by suicide. Where were the staff, and how was this allowed to happen?
News broke this week that LR lost the following four facilities. LR of West Michigan in Battle Creek, MI, Medicaid Facilitry of the Firelands by LR in Willard, OH, LR of Knoxville in Seymour, TN, and Medicaid Facilitry of Norfolk by LR in Norfolk, VA. Two different companies are taking over Battle Creek and Seymour. I won’t state their names; I want to avoid ranking for their names and causing confusion. I need to find out who is taking over Norfolk, VA. Several sources told me that Willard, OH, is under a receivership. Landmark can still send patients, but the staff can block an admission. This is a significant win. Landmark hadn’t paid rent on Willard since October 2023. This is around the same time Cliffy Boyle transferred his personal properties to other people’s names and trusts. Landmark will be down seven facilities.
It was a tragic week at two other facilities. I heard a patient at LR of Louisville attempted suicide. The Assistant Executive Director and Executive Director immediately left the facility when the nurse called it out over the radio. A patient under suicide watch died by suicide at Medicaid Facilitry of Morrilton by LR in Morrilton, AR. I need to work on my posts covering the Morrilton and Norfolk facilities.
I am hearing that Landmark is planning on rebranding. It won’t work. Countless agencies are investigating Landmark. The stench will follow them to the new name. Matty “Boil” Boyle repeatedly refuses to listen to advice. I have heard this from countless sources. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
It was a matter of time before LR got evicted from another property. This time, it’s LR of Knoxville. I have been told LR is being evicted for not paying rent. Shocking, I know. LR was evicted from Las Vegas and Oklahoma City for not paying rent. They are currently under eviction from Battle Creek. The incoming treatment center doesn’t accept Ambetter insurance. LR now has 38 out of 48 patients on Ambetter insurance.
There are no open beds, but admissions still send female patients. One woman is sleeping on a cot. This is a commercial facility. I am being told that admissions reps are claiming that they don’t see gender when talking to patients. That’s nonsense. If the staff at the facilities are telling you to stop sending female patients, stop sending them. There are no open beds for women until February 27, 2024.
Making this an all-women’s facility might be good until LR is booted out. The men can’t behave around women staff.
These patients were not removed from the facility. One was allowed to complete the program and stay another two and a half weeks.
LR sent Sharon Putnam to deliver the news, but she could not answer questions. She had somebody on the phone as she gave the news. My source tells me she could not answer questions about the transition or when LR would stop admitting patients. While I want to commend LR for addressing the staff, how long has LR known? I ask this because LR is currently hiring a float nurse RN. The job was posted two days ago. I swear Landmark would set up a lemonade stand without knowing they don’t have any lemons. Even the Keystone Cops were more organized. Time will tell which facility is next to fall.
I went to post this, and this comment was waiting to be approved. Matty addressed staff and advised them that LR had lost Battle Creek, Seymour, Norfolk, and one of the Ohio facilities.
It’s been another crazy few weeks for LR, but that’s like saying water is wet. Landmark was evicted in Battle Creek. They sold the building. Another addiction treatment company will be moving in. Landmark has two posted positions for this facility. They have published an open position for a Director of Nursing (DON). The other is a Strategic Account Liaison. Who posts jobs for a facility that’s gone? Landmark, that’s who.
Matt sent out a sad excuse for an apology over the paper checks fiasco. While Matty stated he screwed up over the latest checks being delayed, he chose to point the finger at his controller and payroll manager. Matty claims they thought they were saving money by sending the checks via two-day delivery instead of being sent overnight. Listen here, Matty, it’s not just the fact that checks are late, your employees are struggling to cash, or when they deposit the checks, get them to clear. You don’t know about the stress and hardship this puts people through.
The entire marketing department is gone as of Friday, February 16, 2024. Landmark is hiring an outside company to handle the marketing. How long until I start not to get paid? So why is Landmark still looking to hire a marketing manager? Does the right hand even know what the left hand is doing?
I was informed that the Assistant Executive Director at Denver was offering Venmo Patient Engagement Specialists $50 to work late or stay and do intakes.
There is an allegation that LR terminated the Director of Nursing at Medicaid Facilitry of Louisville by LR this week. Here is the message in detail:
“Hi Jason. I don’t want to post it attached to my name, but yesterday the DON at Medicaid Facilitry of Louisville was fired. Evidently the nurses had been keeping the medication of patients who had left (meds they brought in) and had been using them as house stock giving them to others. Jessica Tate is said to have known about it and told the DON not to do this but it had been going on for many months. Also, they are taking patients and putting Valium and certain meds on their admission orders, but this location is no longer receiving Valium so idk what they are giving them or why it’s on the orders. They announced yesterday there will also be no more Suboxone or Gabapentin either. Melatonin has not been coming for quite some time and nursing staff or other staff have actually been buying the Melatonin for the facility”
I have heard of other facilities not having melatonin.
What news will break next?
Update February 17, 2024, at 4:46 PM, PST. Landmark was served an eviction notice, and just like they did with Las Vegas and Oklahoma City, they are hiring and accepting patients. The staff hasn’t been informed. I love the LR Sucks trolls. They are not the sharpest tools in the shed. They bring a butter knife to a gunfight. They are too much of chickenshits to use their real names. I am Jason Brown, I am not hiding. How about you do the same?
Today, I was removed as admin from A Collective to Hold LR Responsible. It was over a disagreement over a member being removed and banned. I defended them and attempted to get them reinstated. I don’t want to get into the weeds, but I was overruled and removed as admin. My posts need admin approval. I don’t want to go into the drama, but I was repeatedly gaslighted today. I attempted to call the admin and make light of them, stating they needed to go to bed, to see their icon show up as seeing my message. Every attempt to apologize and right the ship was ignored, while I was told I was not honoring boundaries.
I started a new group. The Collective will die. I will let them run the group however they deem fit. Come and join the new group.
I was logged off of Facebook twice within a week. The first time was after I posted the link to The Collective. Since then, we have gained 50+ members. Yesterday, I was logged off of Facebook for the second time. I don’t know if they are trying to reset my password, but I can log back in. Booting off of Facebook will not stop or silence me. I received some hate comments when I posted how former employees can get access to Paycom for their W2s. That post triggered folks as it received two troll comments.
I messed up and didn’t use they/them pronouns without knowing Leighton’s gender. That’s my bad. I usually type my content in Microsoft Notepad and edit it in Grammarly. I didn’t because The Collective kept receiving duplicate posts asking how to get the W2s. While we don’t mind being HR, we must address other things. We are volunteers with full-time jobs and responsibilities. I adopted Ms. Tina Brown two weeks ago today. Happy gotcha day, Ms Tina. I started a full-time role on February 1st. Sorry LR trolls, I won’t tell anybody where I work. I learned how to protect myself and my employers while I help people.
In 2013, I became a consumer advocate. Acteva ripped off my now ex-wife’s company for $26,000. I launched my first sucks website. Within days, I had my first email. Over the next few months, I had a list of 50+ non-profits, moms and pops, and universities all owed money. I connected them to the San Fransico District Attorney’s office. The DA shut them down, but sadly, the case is still ongoing. Acteva owed $1.2 Million. The good news is they can’t take advantage of others.
In 2017, I started documenting fake reviews. Countless businesses closed. I was interviewed by the FTC about fake reviews and protecting consumers. The FTC is working on new rules to redress businesses $44,000 per fake review. I told Lisa Slate and John Hood about this after seeing employees leaving reviews on Google. This practice continued. I even emailed Xavier Batty after he reviewed a new location.
I am a digital marketer by trade and a consumer advocate by trade. I entered digital marketing/ search engine optimization in 2006. In 2013, I went after my first company. In March 2017, I focused on fake reviews, while handling the Local SEO for Over The Top. I left them in December 2019. My side project, Reviewfraud took off. My website went viral, and countless news stations interviewed me. Go and Google Jason Brown fake reviews. You will see my coverage. I have received a death threat, threats of being sued, or issued a cease and desist. Last December, I received my first cease and desist from Natalie Nelson.
Check out this carefully worded email from Botax and President Clifford Boyle.
Cliffy, you should read my website and sue me if what you claim is true. Maybe you and Matty shouldn’t run your mouths about lawsuits in the Home Office. I love how you are backing out of the NDA because I know. Pay this person before it explodes in your face. Your days are numbered, so many agencies are investigating you and Matty. You have been accused of being slumlords on Glassdoor. I am seeing photos and videos of what these facilities look like. I launched this website without doing any link-building. This website is being shared among former and current employees and people who want to clean up addiction treatment. My top searched term is: LR Sucks.
People thank me for creating this website. People thought they had they were crazy as the issues they faced were isolated to their facility. This website helped people to see the truth. The issues they were experiencing were happening at other facilities. I told the investigator at Indiana’s Attorney General’s office where to find the dead bodies. FYI, there was a DEA agent on the call, too. I am compiling a list of people to be interviewed. The Department of Justice, the DEA, and the Attorney General’s Office are all investigating LR. I and others have been interviewed by agents at the FBI.
I launched this website to document the news stories. I started getting emails from people with inside information. A few stories broke me. I have cried being a consumer advocate; three times were from the shit I heard about Landmark. I broke down sobbing while on the phone with somebody as I read a message. Men are emotional, we have joy, laugher, and anger. So, to the haters, you can’t stop me. Your hate fulls me. I know that I am upsetting you and living rent-free in your heads.
I am here to protect Landmark employees and patients. I won’t stop, as people’s health and well-being are on the line.
The Collective has received several questions concerning W2s. Landmark claims to have mailed them out on January 31st. I have yet to receive my physical copy. If you don’t have yours, please email Leighton.Birchard@landmarkrecovery.com, and he will help you access Paycom. I emailed her, and she replied immediately. I now have my W2 downloaded.
I received a disturbing email regarding Medicaid Facilitry of Norfolk by LR. Here is the entire unedited email.
“I am hesitant about doing this out of fear of the possible repercussions. However things have reached a breaking point for me now. The first floor at the PORF location had flooded with a sewage back up twice in one weekend. During this time the PES department was grossly understaffed. Second shift was a skeleton crew and third shift only had one PES and thankfully the nursing department was fully staffed. The manager that was on call that weekend wasn’t answering staff onsite calls until almost 6 AM. Once the morning came and they thought it was fixed, come the end of the second shift the exact same issue happened again. And yet again third shift PES department only had one PES show up to work all three floor and 60 patients! On call management again didn’t answer until 6 AM again and it took hours for any plumbers to arrive onsite to try to fix the problem. The admissions department was still sending new intakes knowing what was happening. Now over a month later, the entire first floor is under construction. It is completely shut down and now 60 patients are on two floors. They’ve limited females to 18.
Patients are definitely having sexual relations with each other. At least one staff member has been fired for inappropriate conduct and poor boundaries with patients. Staff that was working in the intake department were not conducting proper luggage/skin searches which was permitting contraband into the facility. Documentation of patients property was not being done properly. Many times at time of discharge when patients were to sign for their property only to discover a phone was missing or other high value property.
If a patient wants to leave Against Staff Advice (ASA) at one time as long as a staff member onsite had safe code access the patient would be able to leave with all their property. Then recently it changed to no patient will receive their property from the safe after 5:30 PM. And if a patient is leaving ASA after 5:30 PM or on weekends that patient would need to figure out their own transportation from the facility.
First fights break out and many times there is no consequences for those that fight. Nobody is administratively discharged or possibly even placed on a behavioral intervention. Patients are having clothes, snacks and other property stolen while in groups and nothing is investigated or done about it. Patients many times will threaten to either physically harm or sexually assault staff with no consequences for such threats. Patients are constantly punching holes in the walls, breaking locks and doorknobs in the facility and again there are no consequences for destruction of property.
Dietary has switched management and since this has happened the quality and quantity of food has decreased significantly. Many of the patients have complained and submitted grievances as a result of this. The patients used to be able to get seconds and now (before first floor construction) they’re lucky to get a decent first serving. And with the first floor construction, lunch and dinner are being catered.
Home office isn’t even keeping with their own policies that were put in place. Many staff members will discuss amongst themselves that it is evident that the company is more concerned with heads in the beds to make a profit than they are the quality of their treatment.
The very last straw was the very night before payday a communication was sent out stating we would not be getting direct deposit but paper checks and would need to come in person to pick them up! No explanation or anything. Please do not list my name as I need to keep my job until I am able to find another one.”
I wanted to address the improper patient-to-staff ratios. Landmark got into trouble for being understaffed. One PES for 60 patients is not only unsafe, it’s dangerous. The Executive Director is supposed to notify the state when they are short-staffed. A surprise inspection is in order. The authorities would love to see the porta potties in the parking lot. Last Friday, a patient was found unresponsive inside one of the porta-potties. Staff was instructed to search them.
The first floor is under construction, and the 60 patients are on the two floors. It’s no wonder why patients are acting out. They are barely getting enough food. Men are entering women’s rooms. Patients are stealing people’s property. Patients complain that their personal effects are missing when they are discharged.
I hope the state revokes Landmark’s license and kicks them out of Virginia.
