Today I received the following email regarding issues at Landmark Recovery of Denver and Executive Director Kim Jacksi. Please the following email:
“I am a previous employee with Landmark of Denver. Plenty of dirty secrets.
Drugs? Employees doing drugs in the parking lot? Contraband?
Employees sleeping with patients?
The new executive director that skips out on job duties because she is doing homework?
Bangs her hands on a desk to throw a tantrum while throwing a fit.
Yells at patients like they are her children. Harasses employees when she has their personal phone number.
Employees ending up in the hospital.
Firing staff because they make too much money.
Nursing staff all gave their notice now they are scrambling to hire 5 new nurses.
A therapist at risk for losing their license because the executive director made a situation an HR issue instead of protecting her with the state.
Discharging an eating disorder patient to the streets, not telling staff that she couldn’t come back to the facility until after the patient was outside in the cold for 8 hours.
Having therapists, APPs, falsify documentation so Landmark can make more money on Withdrawal management instead of medical management and residential.
Firing staff in front of patients, Matt Boyle screaming, yelling, to staff in front of patients.
Cases of rape that gets ignored.
Forcing staff to lie and hide during state and joint commission surveys.
Labcorp dropped landmark because they weren’t getting paid.
Multiple fill pharmacy’s dropped landmark for not paying their bills.
Staff stealing money and personal valuables from patients, lying to the police when a report is made.”
I am shocked that A. Landmark is still in business and B. that Landmark hasn’t turned things around. I feel sorry for Landmark’s employees and people seeking treatment.

This is true but insane.
This facility cleaned house. Not saying any of this information isn’t true but they got rid of employees that were less than what Denver needed. And to the ones who quit, they didnt need to be working here. I mean they were great people, and did a lot for the company but all things considered, maybe they should have tried harder to impress our New ED to keep their employment.
I had another person reach out and they are accusing Kim of dereliction of duty. I am in receipt of several Teams messaging regarding issues with staff, lack of bonuses being paid, and one patient masterbating on his bed for staff to see. Staff reflects leadership. Knowing LR the way I do, leadership is lacking.
The facility did not clean house. Staff have been disparaged, disrespected. There are unethical practices there and have been for many years. The place needs to be closed. The level o disrespect toward staff is ridiculous. Favoritism is present as you can tell by this post. Some are privileged and often have their information incorrect. Many good nurses, therapist, PES and PN’s have lost their jobs without corrective action. Meaning no write ups, no meetings, no probation or other alternative to keep good staff. Matt Boyle and other leaders should be ashamed of themselves. Hell the staff has fed the patient’s out of their pockets, purchase hygiene, and laundry detergent for the patient’s because theses things are not of concern to Matt Boyle, the ED, CD or anyone in a leadership position. Hell, the patient’s had no phone service to contact loved ones, secure extended treatments or other resources. The men and women patients’ are allowed to have sex in the buildings, bring in drugs, be violent and allowed to remain in treatment , because it’s all about money. There is so much more that can b shared. The person that committed on LMR being the greatest place ever, must be new or one of those pets. Good luck to you. You will probably be fired next.
I can’t believe LR employees still attempt to lie to me. I have all of my ducks in a row and lots of intel to back up my claims. I don’t believe their lies. I have been running this website since July 2023. I have heard too many similar stories. People put all of the blame on Matty Boyle. He has a 15% approval rating on Glassdoor. 85% of his current or former employees disapprove of him as a CEO. Matty and company refuse to listen and make the necessary changes. Landmark hasn’t changed since I first heard of issues in December 2022. The only saving grace is the locations that are closed or sold to other companies.
