Landmark Recovery’s former employees filed a class action lawsuit of not being paid overtime and being forced to clock out for breaks they never took. Landmark struggled to produce payroll and timekeeping data. The mediation was scheduled for May 15th, but Landmark asked the mediator to cancel the mediation.
The law firm is now going back to the judge and will ask that CEO Matthew Boyle, President Clifford Boyle, and Chief People Officer AJ Henry be added to the lawsuit as individual defendants. If they are allowed to add them as individual defendants, they will each be held liable for the unpaid wages damages. Since we know that Landmark doesn’t like to pay bills, vendors, or lawsuits, will this fall mainly on AJ?
Typical Landmark, making things harder than they need to be.

They just fired more people at home office leaving a skeleton crew. Their RVPO’s were included in this
What is Aj’s part in all this? Is he just Matthew’s little bunny boy? I always thought of him as a stand up guy, but it’s hard to think now.
It’s because of AJ’s title and position in the company.
Can you imagine accepting a position with a company like landmark and while the ruins are burning, you get personally named in a very large lawsuit?? I bet AJ must be beside himself if the judge allows him to be added. Who was terminated from the main office Friday???? RVPO’s? As in Sharon Putnam, Adam?? Might be easier to ask, who the heck is left???
This is, Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. As for who is left, that’s anybody’s guess. How many fake employees are still on the books?
As an HR Professional, AJ SHOULD have known the implications of doing illegal things, even on behalf of Skidmark. It is always a possibility that you can be personally named, and Skidmark won’t cover the attorney’s fees to defend one of their employees. They should all be scared.
^^^ Including Nicole Carter
She shall get hers in due time.
